Scouting Prepared Me For Life By:

As a Scout I learned many different things. I gained leadership skills and learned that respect has to be earned, it cannot be assigned. I found out about the importance of planning and organization as I led the troop as the Senior Patrol Leader and ran the meeting. I learned the importance of being prepared through many good trips and a few that were not so good.

My Most Memorable Scouting Moment:

One of my best memories is from a High Adventure trip we took one summer. We went out to California and spent a week sailing a tall ship. We lived on the ship during the week and we had to work as a team to sail the ship during the day. If everyone didn't work together, we would not have been able to take the ship to several of the places we did. We sailed past the Queen Mary, around Catalina island, and to several other places during the week.
