I Got Involved in Scouting Because:

I got involved in Scouting because it was a great way to make some friends, and it was a way to learn some really cool skills.

Scouting Prepared Me For Life By:

Scouting made is prepared me for life by giving me the opertunity to try many different things out with the merit badge program. It also taught me several skill that I have used in my everyday life. It also helped create lifelong hobbies. One of those is continuing in the adventure of being an adult leader.

My Most Memorable Scouting Moment:

This is a hard one, having done and seen many things in the 19 years that I have been involved in the one that I come up with as a best Scouting memory is my backpacking trip Troop 238 took to Alaska in 2006. That trip proved to me that Scouting really can take you anywhere. A week in the last frontier was awesome, and has helped me plan and carry out other high adventure activities for Troop 238 with the idea anything is possible.
