I Got Involved in Scouting Because:

My grandfather was two merit badges shy of Eagle and always pushed me in Scouting to make Eagle. When I got involved with it, I found it to be very rewarding and something that I was truly passionate about.

Scouting Prepared Me For Life By:

It taught me how to be a leader. It taught me to think independently. It taught me to be a problem solver. And it taught me that hard work does pay off in the end. And, in EVERY job interview I have had to date, my Scouting items on my resume have come up.

My Most Memorable Scouting Moment:

The 2001 National Jamboree. So many fun friends I made along the way. The different pre-tour stops and then hitting Fort A.P. Hill ready to take it all in. Ropes courses to merit badges to patch trading (of course!), it was something I will never forget.
