I Got Involved in Scouting Because:

A great scoutmaster came to town and introduced Scouting.

Scouting Prepared Me For Life By:

Boy Scouts allowed me to come out of my “shell” and finally begin to grow into the man I am today. Boy Scouts taught me how to be more independent, confident, caring, and mentally/ strong. Even more importantly, Boy Scouts taught me how to be a team-player; a skill that has come in handy in each of the three most important aspect of my life: family, work, and school.

My Most Memorable Scouting Moment:

Camp near Rico Colorado. Our Troop won the "outstanding troop award". Also, had a great experience when I went through the "ordeal" to join Order of the Arrow at Camp Tahosa in 1975 (while President of the Denver Area Council).
