Dear Friend of Scouting,

Our 2013 Annual Report of the Denver Area Council celebrating our 100th Anniversary is dedicated to you.  For a full century, the children in our communities have grown up to be better leaders, parents and productive Americans as a direct result of the life skills learned in the Boy Scouts of America.

Generation after generation of these grown-up children have taken their place in turn to invest in the youth of Denver.  They have generously given their time, talent and treasures to ensure Scouting remains strong and vibrant.  None of this would have happened without community leaders like you.

Thanks to your continued moral and financial support, we have been able to provide programs emphasizing character development and leadership training to 55,242 youth in the Denver-metro area.

We are proud to share with you this 2013 Annual Report for the Denver Area Council, Boy Scouts of America.  As you review the highlights of Scouting, we hope this report demonstrates Scouting’s mission and the difference Scouting makes in a young person’s life.  We look forward to the next hundred years here in Denver!

Yours in Scouting,

John G. Cabeza
