Webelos Weekend Information 37th Annual Gateway District Webelos Weekend Webelos Weekend in 2013 will be held May 31st - June 2nd. Registration is now up and running, but don't delay - space is limited to 500 participants! Register here. Attention Webelos and Leaders: Come and learn about the Boy Scout Program by a Boy Scout, Boy led staff while the adults attend Webelos Outdoor Leader Training. Webelos Weekend is open to all First and Second year Webelos Scouts, Webelos Leaders, and Webelos Parents. Webelos Weekend will be held at Camp Tahosa near Ward, Colorado. Download the Leader's Guide here. Our mission is to provide each Webelos Scout and leader a most positive first Boy Scout camping experience! Activities: While the boys are off learning Scout skills by trained Boy Scouts, the adults will be attending Webelos Outdoor Training. The adults and boys will be together only for meals and in the evenings. Requirements Covered at Webelos Weekend 2013 Ready Man: 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 (at First Aid) Outdoorsman: 1, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 (at Camping/Wilderness Survival/Knots) Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award: 1, 3, 8 (at Nature) Whittlin’ Chip: 1, 2, 3 (at Knife and Saw) Sportsman: 2 (at Disability Awareness) As always, we encourage leaders and parents to eview requirements with Webelos to check for understanding. Only den leaders can sign off requirements in a Scout's Webelos book. Gear and Meals: Bring your own camping gear and tent as well as a sack dinner for Friday night. All meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday will be provided by our staff. Please note on the registration if there are any allergies. We highly recommend that if you or a boy has an allergy to nuts/peanuts that you provide your own food. We can not guarantee that the cooking equipment that we use is free of nuts or peanut oil.
