Advancement The District Advancement Program provides youth and adults the knowledge they need to have a quality unit advancement program. We counsel and train leadership on record keeping, merit badge counseling and requirements for becoming an Eagle Scout. - Be proficient in the merit badge subject by vocation, avocation, or special training.
- Be able to work with Scout-age boys.
- Be registered with the Boy Scouts of America.
The Boy Souts of America requires all Merit Badge Counselors (MBC) to re-register every year or they will be dropped from the list. If you do not turn in your renewal form then you will not be re-registered. All adults who wish to register as a MBC MUST submit a MBC application form and an adult application (with position code 42). |
