This is a one-day event to earn the Cub Scout Geology Academic Pin and Belt Loop, Webelos Geologist Pin, or Boy Scout Geology Merit Badge, as well as see world-class dinosaur tracks and fossils–all within 10 miles of downtown Denver! Activities are available for Scouts from Tiger Cub to Boy Scout; families and friends are welcome. Scout adult supervision and youth protection guidelines apply.

Friends of Dinosaur Ridge and over 80 professional Geologists are teaming to make Boy Scout Day on Dinosaur Ridge a special and exciting experience. Along the Ridge and at the Visitor Center, stations will be set up for activities to earn the Geology Academic belt loop and pin, the Astronomy Academic Belt loop and parts of the pin, and Geology merit badge. Extra work will be required for the Merit Badge.

Registration is required. The cost is $4.00 per Scout and $3.00 for non-Scout if registered by April 11th.  Registration after April 11th  will increase by $1.00 per person. Parking is $5.00 per car.
