    This Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) class provides the training necessary for approval to operate Denver Area Council (DAC) shooting ranges. Successful completion of the course is required to become a DAC-approved Range Safety Officer and obtain a DAC RSO photo I.D. Badge.

    Candidates must be an NRA certified RSO to take this course. Certification must be presented at the course. A prerequisite NRA RSO course is scheduled for January 27, 2018 and again on September 15, 2018.

    Please arrive 20 minutes early to sign in and receive course materials.

    Bring a pen, pencil (for the test), highlighter, snacks, beverages, lunch. Lunch is not provided.

    Class will be held at Hamilton Scout Headquarters.

    Cancellation Policy
    Please plan ahead accordingly as there will be no refunds. To be eligible for a credit for the same course in the future, notice of cancellation must be received no less than 96 hours in advance of the course. Once we order course materials, we cannot return them.
