Character Is A Victory, Not A Gift
It is a truism that we want our children to learn more than facts and figure, but that we want them to learn to respect themselves and others, to learn from their mistakes, to develop tolerance and responsibility. Character education is, however, often pushed to the side in traditional schooling, for reasons of time constraints and lack of curriculum and institutional support. Learning for Life is an organization that provides support for teachers and schools to implement their own character education programs with the assistance of our nationally recognized curriculum, anti-bullying program, and various partnering businesses and individuals who offer speaking and other services.
