BSA Discount Card Sales Fundraiser

1.    Reserve BSA Discount Cards by completing the online reservation form no later than February 21st, 2010.

2.    Work with Scouts and parents to develop a sales strategy plan. Reserve storefront retail locations to sell discount cards by contacting Store Managers for King Soopers, Albertsons, Safeway, Bass Pro, and other retail locations in your area that will let your Scouts sell in front of their stores. Divide sales times in shifts amongst your Scouts

3.    Pick up your BSA Discount Card and Prize forms at March Roundtable in or at the Hamilton Scout Headquarters.

4.    Distribute cards to Scouts and keep accurate records of who receives what number of cards.

5.    Inform Scouts and parents of sales time frames, store front sales times, sales tips and prizes.

6.    Collect all unsold discount cards and monies raised, account for and consolidate all unsold cards, and turn in unsold cards with payment for your cards sold.

7.    Recap your unit’s total sales by individual Scout, hand out patches, and order prizes. Share success stories and plan to improve next year!

Scout Show Booth

Having a Scout Show booth and participating in the 2010 Scout Show, “Celebrating the Adventure-Continuing the Journey” allows your Scouts to show off some of the great things they have done recently, or develop a new and exciting activity for your Scouts to create. Ideas for a Scout Show booth can be found throughout the Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Exploring and Venturing programs, and should, but don't necessarily have to incorporate this year's theme into your booth. Let your Scouts get creative and have fun with this, but please review the Guide to Safe Scouting before finalizing your booth plans to ensure your unit's booth is Scouting appropriate. Have Fun!

Reserve your Scout Show booth space here.
