Welcome to the Timberline DistrictDonate Now to Investment in Character

2014 Timberline District Camporee

Please plan ahead accordingly as there will be no refunds. The Denver Area Council has a firm no refund policy.

Registration is restricted to Timberline District Only until September 1, 2014.

There is no water available at the camp site. It is the utmost of importance that you bring enough water for drinking, and other needs.

The Timberline Camporee Committee invites you to take part in the 2014 Timberline District Fall Camporee to be held September 19-21, 2014. The Camporee will take place at the Timberline Campground, Kenosha Pass in beautiful Pike National Forest.

The theme for this year’s Camporee is "Colorado History." Most of the activities will be themed around a Colorado's rich history and Mountain Man historical adventure. Pioneering, Indian Lore and associated activities are some of the most exciting and fun of the outdoor adventures in Scouting.

The Camporee also offers a unique opportunity for Webelos. Troops are encouraged to invite Webelos to the Camporee to camp with them, participate in the events and observe Scout Troops in action. Webelos and parents will have the opportunity to participate in BB guns, archery, and tomahawk throwing. Scouts unable to camp overnight are also encouraged to participate in Saturday’s program. In addition, Cub Scouts and their parents are also welcome to join us for the day for some Cub Scout specific activities.

It is our intention to offer a quality Scouting program for all Scouts taking advantage of this opportunity. Come enjoy a visit to the Camporee and be prepared for a fun time. A special patch and other awards will be presented to every participant. Periodic updated information will be posted as they become available.

Investment in Character

The nights are getting shorter which indicates that Winter is almost here. Please provide your units date for use to facilitate an Investment in Character presentation (Blue and Gold/Court of Honor/Highly Attended Family Meetings).

We’ll need 10 minutes at the start of the event. Please fill out the form to reserve your presentation date and presenter.

Year Round Recruiting

Timberline District would like to help ensure your Unit is successful throughout the year by encouraging year round recruiting.

Anytime you want to invite youth to your Unit meeting or activity, simply submit the Join Night Material Request Form and the District Membership team will prepare flyers, stickers, yard signs, buddy cards, and other materials for you. We are here to help you!
