So, what is Lockheed Martin’s Engineering Explorers Post? It is a program designed to give high school students a “behind the scenes” look at aerospace, engineering, and technology. You will hear from industry experts from different programs, such as Genesis, Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, and Atlas. You will also compete in three design competitions, as well as take a tour of the Lockheed Martin Labs. We will answer any questions you may have about colleges and internships, as well as take a tour of the University of Colorado Engineering School.
PLUS, you will become a member of a team consisting of five students who will design and build a project with an aerospace related objective.
So how does it sound? Are you ready? We will be meeting every other Wednesday at our Deer Creek Facility, starting Wednesday September 29, 2010 from 6:00 pm until 8:15 pm.
