Are you ready to help fulfill your oath as an Arrowman?
Save the date! March 22nd, a Saturday, we will be heading down to Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch to help repair the Rendezvous camp fire site to make the camping experience better for those who visit the valley this summer. Right now, the benches are falling apart, the fire pits do not work, and the trail leading to the ring is too narrow. We are asking for 5 members from each chapter (at least) to come down and help us out. Since I know that you are doing anything better on the 22nd, I expect to see everyone there! Arrive down at HQ on the Dobbins side for check in at 9:00 am. We are planning on being done around 5:00 pm, so bring lots of water, work gloves, and a sack lunch. No need for registering online, just let your chapter chief know that you will be there and they will give me the numbers of those attending.
There is also a rumor that we will also be asking for extra hands to help repair some regalia that was damaged during the flooding this last fall. So if you are physically not able to help outdoors, then we have a job for you as well!
