Volunteer Opportunity for Boy Scouts

We invite local Boy Scouts to participate in 2014 Annual Lake Appreciation Day as individuals, troops, or with their families.  All ages are welcome and supplies will be provided.  Please bring water, sun screen, and dress for the conditions.

Each year Cherry Creek State Park hosts an Annual Lake Appreciation Day where the community comes to celebrate and appreciate Cherry Creek Reservoir.  In the morning we will show our appreciation through weed removal and shoreline clean-up, and in the afternoon we will celebrate and family activities. Lunch will be provided.

We encourage people to carpool to save on park entry fees. Parking is not permitted on the side of the road or on the grass.  Please find a paved parking space for your vehicle.

All vehicles must have a valid parks pass.  Vehicle passes can be purchased the day of the event at either gate.  If there is not a gate attendant, use the self service stations at the gate for a daily pass (cash or check only).

Cost:  Daily pass- $9.00/vehicle;  annual parks pass $73.00/vehicle

Location: Cherry Creek State Park, 4201 S Parker Rd, Aurora, CO 80014
