Training Information and Resources

Special Needs Awareness Training

Live Special Needs Awareness Training is available through the University of Scouting, to Roundtables, to units request ing it through their district training organizations and to others who are interested, This training is designed to raise special needs awareness among both youth and adult leaders. Our training team is happy to assist with this and other special needs training, whether within the Denver Area Council or at other councils. Please join us for upcoming Special Needs Roundtables at Hamilton Scout Headquarters on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7-9 pm:

  • Wednesday October 22 find out about Resources for Special Needs Parents with presentations by: Meghan's Place, Hearts and Hands, Firefly and Developmental Pathways.

We periodically offer other Special Needs Roundtables on various topics. For a full listing of upcoming Roundtables (occuring the last Wednesday of the month at 7 pm) please visit the Special Needs or council calendar.
