Colorado Gives Day

Training

Do you want to train?

There are opportunities to train right now!  We are looking for individuals who can be part of the District Training committee.  This committee has the important function of coordinating supervising and administrating the training all over the district.  Your packs, crews and troops deserve to have trained adults who can give them the very best that scouting has to offer and you can help.  Don't worry if you don't know much about it, we can train you to succeed!  For more information please contact the training chairs; Harold PonserellaJohn Flanagan, and Roy Batzel.

Every Scout Deserves a Trained Leader!

Are you a leader who is new to scouting or returning to scouting after a break?  Perhaps you have been in scouting forever but want to refresh your training to be the best leader you can be.  That's Great!

What training do you need?  The first training is Youth Protection.  Everyone needs Youth Protection before they can enjoy being a leader in Scouting.  The subsequent trainings are geared towards your specific position.  And the training goes on to Wood Badge and beyond.

To take trainings online you can go to myscouting.org.  You can take Youth Protection there as well as many general courses and leader specific trainings.
