What is Roundtable
Roundtable is a forum for sharing experiences and enjoying fun and fellowship with other Scout leaders. The objectives of roundtables are to provide leasers with program ideas, information on policy and events, and training opportunities.
Roundtables are held on the first Thursday of every month (except July) at 7:00 pm. Look for the complete Roundtable schedule on our Calendar.
Roundtable This Month (September 2014)
For September our dual group topic will be Parent Engagement. For the program specific topics the Cub Scouts will have Nancy Ferrell discuss the New Cub Scout Program that will be rolling out in the upcoming year (with Q&A opportunities) and the Boy Scouts will be discussing Annual Planning and Journey to Excellence (JTE). Individual group breakout forum time will follow.
There will be more gateway bucks with $1 for attendance, $5 for attendance in uniform, $10 for first time attendance or participation in a flag or opening ceremony, and $20 for bring someone to roundtable for the first time. We already have received donations of an Official Scout Dutch Oven and a Camp Chef Dutch Oven Table, with more items on their way. Come show up, bring a guest, have some fun, learn something and share something. Make this your Roundtable.
