Shooting Sports

The Shooting Sports Program strives to provide a safe and rewarding experience for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venture Crews. The proper Knowledge, Skill and Attitude are emphasized by all Instructors, Coaches, and Range Safety Officers for all of the following discipline areas:

  • Archery
  • BB Gun
  • Pistol
  • Tomahawk
  • Rifle
  • Home Firearm Safety
  • Shotgun
  • Muzzleloader

Interested in becoming an NRA/NAA Certified Instructor? Shooting Sports training courses are available, start the online registration process by selecting the course you would like to attend.

Pre-Requisite Course

  • Basic Instructor Training (B.I.T)

You must successfully complete (B.I.T.) to qualify for any Certified Instructor Course.

  • Rifle & Muzzleloading Course
  • Shotgun & Home Firearm Safety Course
  • Pistol Course
  • Archery Course
  • Range Safety Officer Course

Non-Certified Courses

  • Cub Scout Rangemaster Course

  • Home Firearm Safety (Student) Course
