Shooting Sports

The Shooting Sports Program strives to provide a safe and rewarding experience for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venture Crews. The proper Knowledge, Skill and Attitude are emphasized by all Instructors, Coaches, and Range Safety Officers for all of the following discipline areas: Archery, BB Gun, Home Firearm Safety, Rifle, Shotgun, Muzzleloader, Pistol, and Tomahawk.

Interested in becoming an NRA/NAA Certified Instructor? Shooting Sports training courses are available, start the online registration process by selecting the course you would like to attend.

Upcoming Competition

The Frank Sturges 3Position Air Rifle Match

Join us for the Frank Sturges 3Position Air Rifle Match on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Colorado Adventure Point's indoor range.

This event is an introduction to competitive 3 par matches. We are utilizing a unique drop-in format where you pick and reserve the available time slot for Match 1, 2, and 3. You shoot your targets and go home.

This is limited to 12 Webelos, 12 Scouts and 11 Venturer's.

Pre-registration is $50 with your paid registration on or before January 15, 2016. On January 16, a total of $75 is due with your registration. Please note: the early discount is only available for PAID registration on or before January 15, 2016.
