Youth Protection Training To ensure the safety of every young person in Scouting, every registered adult is required to complete "Youth Protection Training" (YPT) . If you have recently completed YPT, please submit a copy of your YPT card to Council Offices as soon as possible. If you have not completed a course within the past two years – please take immediate action to become Youth Protection certified through one of the following three methods: Online (20 – 30 minutes) - www.myscouting.org
- ‘Sign in to MyScouting’ or ‘Create an Account’
- Click on E-learning
- Take ‘Youth Protection Training’
- Record of your completion of training will be automatically sent to Denver Area Council.
At Gateway District Roundtable From time to time Youth Protection Training is offered at Roundtable meetings.
